The Lurking Place of E. Rochelle Potter
Nick Cutter
Canadian born Nick Cutter was christened Craig Davidson. He writes under his birth name, and two other pen-names (Nick Cutter and Patrick Lestewka.) He attended both Trent University and the University of Brunswick, and made his debut to the published writing scene in 2005 with his short story collection Rust and Bone, published by Penguin Books Canada Throughout his career has participated in some unique and lively promotional events, including fully sanctioned boxing matches.
My first encounter with his work was under his Nick Cutter pseudonym, which is why I have him listed as such and not by his real name. His novel The Troop positively made me squirm! His descriptiveness continued to delight my macabre senses with his subsequent novel The Deep. He has a very real talent for making me seriously uncomfortable, but not at all in a bad way. Even Stephen King endorses his work as making his flesh crawl!
He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario. To learn more about his work visit http://www.craigdavidson.net/
